What is your refund policy?

We want you to be absolutely satisfied with your decision to join APEX. Before you subscribe, you can try a demo of our courses before you enroll on the student and CRNA sign-up pages.
If you enroll, take a look around, and think APEX isn’t for you, then you’ll have 72 hours from the date of purchase to request a full refund. We do not offer refunds, full or partial, beyond 72 hours of your initial purchase. Also, if you’re a CRNA you must request your refund before earning any credit.

Do you offer a student guarantee?

Although thousands of students across the country trust APEX to help them pass boards, you may be thinking, “What if I don’t pass?”

If the unthinkable happens, here’s how we’ll help:

  • Send us your scores, and we’ll schedule a FREE strategy call.
  • You’ll get continued 1-on-1 guidance and continued course access until you pass.
  • If you don’t pass the National Certification Exam on your 3rd attempt using APEX, you’ll have an option for a full refund. If you select this option, this will terminate your continued 1-on-1 guidance as well as any course extensions beyond your paid subscription.

A review course is only beneficial to those who actually use it. To be eligible for our guarantee, you have to put in the time and complete the course.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes! We are happy to offer group discounts. Here’s how it works.

  • 10-19 students = 1% off per student. For example, a group of 15 students will receive a 15% discount.
  • 20 or more students = 20% off.

  • 5 – 19% CRNAs = 1% off per CRNA.
  • 20 or more CRNAs = 20% off.
  • If you’re a large anesthesia practice with more than 100 CRNAs, please contact us for enterprise pricing.

Can my group have a mix of different subscriptions?

Your group discount is based on the total number of members in the group.

  • Student groups are free to have a mix of 1-, 2, and 3- year subscriptions in the same group. This is a great option for smaller groups who wish to increase their discounts.
  • CRNA groups can mix and match CE courses to take advantage of the discount.

Can I renew my subscription?

  • We offer 1-, 2-, and 3-year subscription options.
  • We suggest that you purchase a subscription that will cover you several months beyond graduation.
  • Subscription renewals beyond the initial subscription selected will be charged at full price.
  • If you don’t pass the NCE, we’ll keep your subscription active for FREE until you pass.

  • You are welcome to repeat any of our courses, but to be eligible for credits from the AANA you can only complete each course per 4-year certification cycle.
  • If you’re looking for more credits during the same 4-year cycle, we recommend enrolling in one of our other continuing education courses.
  • If you used APEX as a student and want to take a continuing education course as a CRNA, we’ll gladly give you a 20% discount on the first continuing education course you purchase.
  • Contact us, and we’ll email you a discount code.

  • There’s a supplemental PDF that follows the interactive video lessons.

Clinical Updates Course:

  • You can print our expert analysis for each article.
  • You can print the journal articles directly from the sites where they’re hosted.

Can APEX predict how I’ll perform or the questions I’ll see on the NCE?

The promise of predicting the future is a gimmick. Here’s why:

  • The NCE is a computer adaptive exam. It is impossible to accurately predict the questions or concepts that you’ll see on your specific exam. Not only will it be different for everyone, but it will also be different each time a student takes it (assuming you don’t pass the first time).
  • The NCE evolves over time as new content is added and old content is removed.

The bottom line is that there are no shortcuts! Instead of guessing how you’ll answer specific questions or which concepts you’re most likely to see on your specific exam, we’ll help you master ALL the concepts necessary to succeed on the National Certification Exam.

What should I do after I take the NCE?

One of the best things about operating a review course is sharing in your success, so please keep us updated via email or Facebook.

Please DO NOT send us any information specific to your exam! If you are unsure about acceptable vs. prohibited exam behavior, the NBCRNA lists all the rules on their website. Learn more.

How often do you report CE credits to the AANA?

If you’re an active AANA member, we’ll take care of the reporting process for you.

  • During most of the year, we report CE credits twice a month.
  • In the month of July, we report credits once a week.
  • If you need your credits reported sooner (for instance you’re changing jobs), send us an email and we’ll help you out.
  • There can be a turnaround time of up to 7 – 10 days for your credits to appear on your AANA transcript.

If you’re not an active AANA member, then you’ll be able to print the CE certificates from the website so you can submit them to the NBCRNA.

Does APEX offer an in-person review course?

Although our digital courses provide on-demand access to the most up-to-date content, some learners are looking for an in-person review course.

APEX Live helps CRNAs prepare for the CPC Exam in a fun and clinically relevant way. Gorgeous locations, world-class speakers, and a targeted review will give you everything you need to pass the CPC Exam with ease.

What about students? Although APEX Live doesn’t offer a live NCE review course, APEX Live can provide supplemental value to those who want to layer in a live experience to their board prep plan.

  • APEX Live is taught through a series of crisis management case studies. This approach will help you connect the dots, so that you’ll have an easier time answering higher-order questions on the NCE.
  • You’ll get a different perspective from your other review courses.
  • You won’t find our world-class instructors anywhere else! Sass Elisha EdD, CRNA, FAAN is the co-editor of Nagelhout’s Nurse Anesthesia textbook, and Jeremy Heiner EdD, CRNA is a chapter author. Additionally, Jeremy has served on the NBCRNA SEE item writing committee.
  • The clinical focus of the course content will give you a head start when you begin clinical practice.
  • Our 20-hour curriculum is spread out over four days. You’ll attend class in the morning, and then you’ll have the rest of the day to reflect on what you learned or enjoy some well deserved R&R.
