Description
We are seeking a highly autonomous CRNA to support a busy orthopedic practice. Founded in 1942, Memphis Orthopaedic Group is the region’s oldest legacy orthopaedic practice. What began as a small clinic has expanded over the decades incorporating in 1974 and evolving into a thriving, multi-physician organization. Following a merger with MSK Group, the practice now spans five locations with a 12-physician team, all dedicated to delivering exceptional othopaedic care and exceeding patient and family expectations.
Awards
Case Assignments
High-volume case mix including hips, knees, shoulders, ankles, and single-level outpatient spine procedures.
Shifts
7AM-3PM, Monday - Friday (overtime paid at premium rate)
Team Leadership
Dr. Matthew Walsh, RVP, Mid-West Region
Team Highlights
CRNAs practice with a high level of independence within a care team model.
Responsibilities
Highly proficient in spinal blocks
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
