Valley Regional Anesthesia Associates (VRAA) is seeking full-time and PRN CRNAs to join the anesthesia team at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, California.
This high-volume regional medical center offers flexible shift options, a broad case mix, strong clinical support, and opportunities for CRNAs to maintain a hands-on scope of practice, including regional blocks and OB anesthesia.
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
Flexible shift options include:
8-hour OR shifts
10-hour OR shifts
12-hour OB shifts
16-hour OR shifts
24-hour OB shifts
Base/PRN rate: $200/hour on a 1099 basis
Full-time CRNAs can earn up to $215/hour through VRAA’s annual-hours incentive program.
Estimated full-time annual compensation: $240,000–$426,000+
Call opportunities are available and compensated separately, providing additional earning potential.
Overtime and callback hours count toward annual qualifying hours and receive the applicable hourly premium.
Twenty-four-hour OB shifts count toward annual qualifying hours and include an additional $100 bonus per shift.
Free shared housing is available for clinicians who need local accommodations.
ANNUAL HOURS INCENTIVE
Full-time CRNAs can increase their hourly rate based on the number of qualifying hours worked during their 12-month service year:
1,980+ hours/year: +$15/hour — $215/hour total
1,755–1,979 hours/year: +$10/hour — $210/hour total
1,170–1,754 hours/year: +$5/hour — $205/hour total
Qualifying hours include OR hours, overtime, callback hours, OB/Flex hours, 24-hour OB shifts, and qualifying surgery center hours.
This structure gives CRNAs flexibility in how they build their annual commitment rather than requiring a specific number of shifts or Full Weeks each year.
Hourly incentives are paid monthly. Final incentive eligibility is based on the total qualifying hours completed during the 12-month service year.
CRNAs participating in the annual-hours incentive program also provide mutually agreed-upon call coverage and assist with coverage during either Thanksgiving or Christmas week.
Annual earnings will vary based on total hours worked, incentive level achieved, call participation, overtime, callback hours, and OB shifts. Additional call and bonus compensation is not included in the estimated $240,000–$426,000 annual range.

Although the practice is supervised, CRNAs maintain a meaningful hands-on clinical scope. CRNAs perform regional blocks, participate in OB anesthesia, and manage cases across a wide variety of specialties with strong physician backup available.
