APEX Anesthesia Review is a CRNA-founded, leading provider of high-stakes exam preparation and learning support for Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) and continuing education for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
Anesthesia education should enhance patient safety, but it should also be convenient, engaging, and easy to use. Our online courses prepare students for boards and make it easy for CRNAs to earn Class A CE credits. And we aspire to connect them with employers to find the right role for their careers through the APEX Job Board.

At APEX Anesthesia Review, we believe that better education leads to better patient care. But we understand it’s not easy to fit education into a busy lifestyle. We empower busy SRNAs/RRNAs and CRNAs to achieve more in less time with world-class educational experiences that are convenient, engaging, and easy to use.
Our History
Founded in 2012 by Kevin Baker, MSNA, CRNA and Daniel Frasca, DNAP, CRNA, APEX Anesthesia Review was born from a simple idea: make studying for the NBCRNA certification and continuing education more effective and less overwhelming. Since our inception, we have helped thousands of SRNAs pass the National Certification Exam (NCE) and supported practicing CRNAs in meeting their Continued Professional Certification (CPC) requirements.
In fall of 2022, APEX Anesthesia was acquired by TrueLearn. Both organizations are mission-driven and built around the service and unwavering advocacy of our learners and their institutions, supporting a strong partnership.
In summer of 2025, we launched our CRNA Job Board and career advice resources to help SRNAs and CRNAs find a fulfilling role and establish successful careers.
